As I read about her in the newspaper and see her on the TV, all I see is the innocence in her eyes. Her eyes which were full of dreams and hopes. Her eyes which hadn’t seen the beautiful big world. Her eyes which were yet to experience the ups and downs of life. Her eyes, which I am sure must have been so helpless when the eight-year-old poor child was abducted, tortured, raped repeatedly and murdered, and her body was dumped in a forest. And what surprises me the most is the never ending religious war which doesn’t even spare the value of life for an eight-year-old. Hindus and Muslims have got yet another reason to fight with each other, wow! Congratulations! Asifa was held hostage for three days. THREE DAYS guys!
